No matter what you need to show in the office or classroom, the RE-455X can handle it. With its versatile design, you can capture images of original documents, 3-D objects and photographs -- then project them or display them on a monitor. The RE-455X's 12X zoom lens lets you display objects or images as small as 1.2" x .9" (31.5mm x 23.7mm), as well as objects or images as large as 12.1" x 9" (306mm x 230mm). And, for convenience, the RE-455X has a one-touch button for setting the zoom to A4-size documents.

You can even connect your PC to your RE-455X, then switch between the RGB input from your computer and the image from your RE-455X for a single, seamless presentation.

Image Quality You Can See
The RE-455X's 12X zoom lens combines with its 1/3" XGA (1024x768) resolution CCD to give you a sharp, clear image, while a built-in scan converter optimally outputs analog RGB signals and video signals (composite and S-video).

Twin fluorescent lamps provide uniform light, which means you'll catch even the smallest detail. And 520 TV line resolution and advanced color processing system with XGA output further ensures that every presentation is displayed flawlessly.

Plus, the RE-455X's Text Enhancement feature -- along with auto white balance and exposure -- ensures ultra-clear, accurate image quality when projecting white paper documents.

Capture Images Effortlessly
Don't miss a beat during your next presentation -- thanks to the RE-455X. With the press of a button, a high-quality still image can be temporarily stored in memory, and then displayed on a projector or monitor. You even get 15 frames/second capture for smooth XGA motion images.

Capturing an image is easy because the RE-455X comes equipped with Auto Exposure, Auto White Balance, along with Auto Focus and Manual Focus modes. In addition, One-shot AF mode is an enhanced AF mode designed for use with many 3-D objects of varying sizes.

Easy to Use
Because all of the RE-455X's controls are located on the front, adjustments can be made quickly and easily -- which means all your attention is on your presentation.

The RE-455X is easy to take with you because it folds into a compact package 19.13" (W) x 20.66" (H) x 7.20" (D) (48.6cm x 52.5cm x 18.3cm) and weighs an easily manageable 20.7 lbs. (9.4kg).
